How does it work?
Step 1: Appointment
To apply for an energy label, we need to visit the house
Step 2: Documents
Only if there have been modifications to the house. Possibly of new insulation or solar panels and a floor plan of the house.
Step 3: Visit
The visit lasts a maximum of 1 hour. For larger properties, it can take 1.5 hours.
Step 4: Energy label
Within 1 to 2 days after visit, you will receive your energy label.

Do you need a Energy label for your house?
Energy label application for your house is mandatory when selling or renting out your property. This is with the aim of encouraging energy-saving measures. The energy label depends on how energy-efficient your home is. This includes heating, cooling, hot water and ventilation systems. But the home's insulation also plays an important role.
The less fossil fuels your home consumes, the better your energy label. Here, G is the worst energy label and A++++ is the best energy label.
The energy label is calculated with fixed values. These are based on an average number of occupants, average occupant behaviour and the average Dutch climate.
The energy consumption of household appliances such as refrigerator, TV, washing machines etc. all do not count.
This is because the energy label is about how energy-efficient the house is. Therefore, the energy consumption on the energy label is not the same energy consumption as on your energy bill.
Do you need a Energy label for your house?
Do you need a quick and cheap energy label for your home? Then always check whether the relevant party is authorised to do so. You can do this on the website of Central Registry of Engineering.
Energy labels are valid for 10 years. Only when there has been a renovation and new insulation has been installed, underfloor heating has been laid or solar panels have been installed, for example. Then it is advisable to apply for a new label. You may then get a more favourable label with your home.
